It's not often you meet with a toilet so nice it's compared to a first-class seat. But that's exactly what travelers will encounter in Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, home to the best public bathroom in the country, according to a survey by restroom supply company Cintas. The airport—with automatic doors, original artwork, drink holders next to urinals, and baby-changing stations in each restroom—will surely be "flushed with pride," per the St. Paul Pioneer Press after getting nearly 40% of the 5,000 votes cast. The 10 finalists:

  • Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport
  • The Charmery ice cream shop in Baltimore
  • Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, Pa.
  • Leña Brava restaurant in Chicago
  • The Novel Neighbor book store in St. Louis
  • Safe House restaurant in Milwaukee
  • Swift & Sons restaurant in Chicago
  • The Vine restaurant in New York City
  • The Way Station bar in Brooklyn
  • Urban Ecology Center museum in Milwaukee
