Ramsey County Attorney John Choi said Wednesday that St. Anthony police officer Jeronimo Yanez, who is Latino, was not justified in using deadly force when he fired seven shots at Philando Castile on July 6. Castile's death led to massive protests and dozens of arrests. The case was among a series across the country since mid-2014 that have spurred a national debate over race and policing.
