You'd think a man wouldn't soon forget all those times he stole from a bank, but Gabriel Patterson apparently wanted to remember his fraud forever—hence the tattoo of the Bank of America logo on the inside of his left elbow. Now he'll also have the memory of 33 months in prison. The 21-year-old—a Crips gang member and son of a retired NYPD detective—was sentenced Wednesday in New York after pleading guilty to a check fraud scheme in which he cashed checks with stolen account and routing numbers, reports the New York Daily News. Says his lawyer of Patterson's tattoo: "He was just an immature kid. I don't think any great thinking went into it." (More weird crimes stories.)
