Two Vermont teachers have found themselves in a very embarrassing situation, publicly exposed as unable to draw a dinosaur. Oh, also they were arrested on suspicion of vandalism. Windsor police say 29-year-old Abigail Howard and 35-year-old Jennifer Rist were told to stay away from wet concrete that had been poured for a new sidewalk. Instead, the teachers at a nearby school for students with special needs allegedly defaced it, drawing the initials "JR" and what looked like a rat, WCAX reports.
Rist and Howard were arrested and charged with unlawful mischief, with police saying they did approximately $1,500 in damage. "It retrospect, it was pretty stupid," Howard admits, adding that the rat was actually supposed to be a dinosaur. The people of Vermont need to take a serious look at the caliber of educator teaching their children—a dinosaur looks nothing like a rat. (More teachers stories.)
