Blue Bell is now about as synonymous with listeria as it is with ice cream—and apparently for good reason. Following a listeria outbreak last year and the discovery of the bacteria at one of its facilities in January, the company says it's voluntarily recalling two ice cream flavors that may be contaminated with listeria, per the Houston Chronicle. No illnesses have been reported.

The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Cookie Two Step varieties—produced in Sylacauga, Ala., and distributed to Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia, per ABC News—include an ingredient from vendor Aspen Hills that "potentially" contains the bacteria, the company says. However, it says the ice cream passed its tests for listeria. (More listeria stories.)
