Donald Trump's entrance at the GOP convention last week to Queen's "We Are the Champions" didn't make Queen very happy—and there are lots of stars who apparently feel the same way about political campaigns pilfering their music. Toward that end, John Oliver has assembled the likes of Cyndi Lauper, Imagine Dragons, John Mellencamp, and Michael Bolton to appear in his "Don't Use Our Songs" video, which the Atlantic says is a "catchy refrain that … should remain lodged in the minds of all future political-convention DJs." Usher delivers the most to-the-point message of the video—"Don't use our songs. That's licensing. You gotta call my publisher"—but the rest of it is worth a watch, too. There's even a four-legged guest star who offers a freebie for those not willing to pony up the cash. (More John Oliver stories.)
