That's according to recent stats compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which examined traffic accident data to see which states had the highest pedestrian death rates in 2014, 24/7 Wall Street reports. The Land of Enchantment (that's New Mexico) was deemed the most dangerous state for pedestrians, with 3.55 deaths per 100,000 residents.
