A Massachusetts man who made a resolution on Jan. 1, 1989, to run every day is still going strong—27 years later, the AP reports. Saugus resident Lenworth "Kip" Williamson recently ran for the 10,000th consecutive day. The 57-year-old General Electric Co. engineering manager tells the Daily Item of Lynn that he remembers reading at the time that if you can do something for 21 days, it becomes a habit. Now he puts in at least 3 miles a day and sticks to the streets, regardless of the weather, running as late at 11pm and as early as 2am. "It’s a good time to think," Williamson says. "I guess I enjoy the endorphins and it’s just part of who I am at this point." He says as long as his legs work, he will continue running. (More jogger stories.)
