Barack Obama's campaign posted his tax returns from 2000-06 online today in another attempt to portray the Clinton campaign as secretive, the Chicago Tribune reports. Obama has hounded Clinton to make her post-White House tax records public; she has said she will do so soon. The Obamas' income ranged from $240,000 in 2000 to $1.6 million in 2005, MSNBC reports, the latter figure largely due to proceeds from his autobiography.

"If Sen. Clinton shares those same ideals, all she has to do is send someone down to Kinkos," Obama communications director Robert Gibbs said of the candidates' relative commitment to openness. However, no further records are forthcoming from Obama's time as an Illinois state senator, Gibbs said, as "that has been pretty well documented in the press for many months."
