(Shutterstock) A corpse-related crime and a guy living life in the fast lane are among the weirdest crime stories of the week: Man Breaks Into Five Guys, Fires Up the Grill: If you're going to break into a burger joint, you might as well take advantage of everything it has to offer, including its meat patties and condiments bar. That's what one hungry suspect reportedly did at a DC Five Guys restaurant last month. Here's what the "Hamburglar" reportedly cooked for himself, and the odd single item he is said to have made off with. Thief Steals Wedding Ring Right Off Dead Woman's Hand: A Texas woman was caught on surveillance video stealing a wedding ring off the finger of a woman—an 88-year-old dead woman lying in an open casket at an Odessa funeral home. The family of Lois Hicks, 88, had just left the funeral home after a visitation service when a stranger came in and asked to use the restroom. What happened next is gruesome. Guy Picks the Wrong Driver to Rip Off: In a case of rotten luck, Tennessee's Brandon A. Williams was arrested after authorities say he tried to rob a man sitting in a car in a Knoxville parking lot. Per the police report, the 22-year-old suspect opened the passenger door and demanded money from the man sitting in the driver's seat. It turned out to be the wrong man to mess with. Cop Pulls Over Speeder (and We Do Mean Speeder): A driver on a Minnesota expressway managed to hit speeds so high that the police officer chasing him felt uncomfortable as he followed behind at 140mph. The unnamed 36-year-old suspect was clocked driving his 2016 Camaro Coupe as fast as 171mph, with the cop who pursued him saying it was "like a rocket on wheels." Here's what the suspect said when the cop was finally able to pull him over. Burger King Workers Wreck the Place After Prank Call: A prank caller tricked both the workers and manager of a Minnesota Burger King into smashing the windows of the restaurant in an attempt to prevent it from exploding last Friday, say police, and it's not the first time the fast-food prank has successfully been pulled off. Employees at the restaurant in the Minneapolis suburb of Coon Rapids got a call Friday night from someone claiming to be with the fire department; here's the dangerous situation they were reportedly told about.
