On April 1, Taylor Swift shared an ad for Apple Music in which she belts out Drake and Future's "Jumpman" while running on a treadmill, then does a faceplant. (Shake it off, Swift.) AdWeek reports the video—"based on real events," says Swift—has been viewed more than 37 million times across all social channels, but that's not even the most impressive figure the ad produced. A look at the numbers:
- Sales of "Jumpman" are up 431% worldwide on iTunes
- Plays of the #gymflow playlist featured in the ad are up 325%
- The video has been liked 1.4 million times on Instagram
- It drew 544,000 reactions on Facebook
- Swift's tweet with the video has 68,000 retweets and 120,000 likes
Apple Music is hoping that success can be repeated; two other ads featuring Swift—who will star in a larger Apple Music campaign—are on the way. (Click for 20 more celeb endorsements
