A man ran into the middle of an Easter egg hunt Saturday afternoon screaming that his roommates were trying to kill him, inadvertently leading sheriff's deputies in Salmon Creek, Wash., to sniff out what they say is a major, unlicensed pot operation they believe crosses state lines to deliver nationwide, they report on Facebook. At a nearby house, they seized 45 pounds of marijuana, $108,000 in cash, and at least four vehicles they think are linked to the business, reports KOIN 6.
No guns were ultimately found, reports NBC News, which puts the street value of the marijuana at $202,000. Three men, ages 24 to 27, were booked for either possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver or felony drug warrants out of Missouri. No bunnies were hurt in the sting. (Another egg hunt was disrupted—by pushy parents.)
