Police investigating the death of former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland have arrested one of his bandmates. Wildabouts member Thomas Delton Black was arrested after police executing a search warrant found a small amount of cocaine in the tour bus bedroom where Weiland's body was found on Thursday, NBC reports. The Bloomington, Minn. officers also found the drug in Black's bedroom, Entertainment Tonight reports.

Weiland had long struggled with substance abuse issues, and sources tell TMZ that he relapsed in the days before his death. His former Stone Temple Pilots bandmates released a moving open letter to him on Friday, Rolling Stone reports. "The memories are many, and they run deep for us," they wrote. "We know amidst the good and the bad you struggled, time and time again. It's what made you who you were. Part of that gift was part of your curse." (More Scott Weiland stories.)
