Monday could be a jittery day at universities in the Philadelphia area. The University of Philadelphia, Drexel University, and Temple University have warned students and faculty of a threat of violence at 2pm Eastern at an "unspecified university near Philadelphia," USA Today reports. The universities say they were informed of the threat of violence by the ATF and the FBI. The FBI says students and faculty should follow the "guidance of their campus security officials." Police say patrols will be stepped up and students have been asked to look out for anything suspicious on Monday, ABC 6 reports.

The FBI says the threat was made in a social media post, which appears to be this post from the 4chan website, made in the same forum where a poster warned against going to school in the Northwest the night before last week's mass shooting in Oregon, the Philadelphia Daily News reports. "The first of our kind has struck fear into the hearts of America," says the latest post, vowing that a "fellow robot will take up arms" Monday. The universities will operate normally, but some students are pretty worried. "Just because all of the recent things have been going on, it's just scary to think it's possibly going to happen on our campus," a Drexel student tells ABC 6. "So I'm scared to actually leave my dorm tomorrow." (More 4Chan stories.)
