A suspect walked into a San Antonio bank yesterday morning, asked for a teller who spoke Spanish, and then handed the teller a deposit slip with the words "dame dinero" written on it. That's Spanish for "give me money," the San Antonio Express-News reports, but the Wells Fargo teller thought it said "Damien" and started looking up accounts under that name. When the teller asked the suspect to confirm the name, he or she (police aren't officially releasing a gender, though surveillance photos appear to show a woman) apparently got tired of waiting for cash, took the slip back, and left. The San Antonio Police Department has released the surveillance photos in a bid to find the suspect, and there's a $5,000 reward on offer. (More weird crimes stories.)
