Perhaps folks were a bit too critical of Philly’s first-round draft pick Thaddeus Young. The 19 year-old rookie scored 22 points tonight, leading the Sixers to victory over the Bucks, 119-97. In his last four games Young has averaged 16.5 PPG, nine over his season-average, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.  The Sixers are winners of their last four games. In other NBA action:  

  • Toronto needed a win in a big way tonight and got it against Seattle, 114-106. It didn’t matter it came against one of the league’s worst; it just mattered that the Raptors snapped a losing skid before a road trip on which they will face some of the best teams in the Western Conference. Anthony Parker led Toronto with 23 points.
