Police haven't named the 58-year-old shooter who killed two people and himself in a Lafayette, La., movie theater last night, but they say he's a "lone white male" with a criminal history, the AP reports. A police spokesman told reporters that the bomb squad was called in after suspicious items were found in the man's car, and officers are investigating "items of interest" inside the theater, where there are still bodies, including that of the shooter, the Daily Advertiser reports.
