Woman's Plan to Have Jesus Pay the Bill Ends Poorly

What would Jesus do? Maybe advise us to pay our own bills. April Lee Yates apparently had other ideas. The 51-year-old was arrested in Myrtle Beach, SC, on Sunday night and charged with defrauding a restaurant. The staff at Bennetts Calabash told police Yates had been there for almost four hours when she began to be a disruption. They asked her to settle her $26 tab and leave, but she refused. When police arrived around 9pm, Yates told them she actually had no money to pay. They asked how she intended to handle her dinner bill, and she told them Jesus was going to cover it, reports WBTW.
