The San Antonio Spurs broke open a close game with a 14-4 run to start the second half and went on to beat the Indiana Pacers 108-97 last night, reports the Associated Press. Manu Ginobili led the way with 28 points as the Spurs won their 11th straight and stayed ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers atop the Western Conference.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich missed the best part of the game for his squad as he was ejected in the second period. Tony Parker also had 19 for the Spurs, including a 3-pointer that helped sparked the third-quarter run that put the game away. Tim Duncan had 12 rebounds for San Antonio, but only six points, and was 3 for 11 from the field. (More NBA stories.)
