One of the reactions to Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's death penalty sentence in heavy circulation comes from Sydney Corcoran, who was severely injured in the attack and whose mother lost both her legs. Her tweet:
- “My mother and I think that NOW he will go away and we will be able to move on. Justice. In his own words, ‘an eye for an eye.’”
But not all the victims wanted the death penalty, including the parents of 8-year-old Martin Richard, who was killed. They were in court today, and CNN's Deborah Feyercick
tweeted that "several of the survivors & family members dab tears from their eyes. Martin & Denise Richard did not want death. They look stoic."
