Carly Fiorina jumped in the presidential free-for-all, and quickly got herself in a bit of trouble when she failed to register carlyfiorina.org. and the domain's owner used it to mock her for the 30,000 people she laid off at HP. Chuck Todd pursued that line of questioning this morning, reports Mediaite. "I had to make some tough calls in tough times," Fiorina responded, "tough times that many tech companies didn’t survive at all." Todd followed by asking why HP's stock went up 7% when she was fired. "I was fired in a boardroom brawl," Fiorina said. "It is a leader’s job to challenge the status quo. When you do, you make enemies." But it was Fiorina who got the last laugh, later tweeting, "Thanks, @chucktodd, for having me on @meetthepress this morning. Btw, check out chucktodd.org. #domaingate" (More Carly Fiorina stories.)
