(AP Photo/Dan Steinberg) Ireland Baldwin recently checked into rehab "to just get away for a little bit" and deal with "emotional trauma"—and Radar rounds up 10 other celebrities who've been hospitalized, sometimes involuntarily, for mental health issues: Britney Spears was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold in 2008, after her infamous head-shaving incident and other strange behavior in 2007. Demi Lovato admitted there was once a time she couldn't make it an hour without doing cocaine, but she went to rehab, plus got treatment for bipolar disorder and bulimia, in 2010. After Glitter got panned in 2001, Mariah Carey reportedly had a meltdown on camera while appearing on TRL and ended up hospitalized. She's since denied that she had a nervous breakdown and says she was just "exhausted." Mischa Barton, on the other hand, has admitted she had "a full-on breakdown" in 2009. She ended up in a psych ward under an involuntary psychiatric hold. Roseanne Barr said in 2001 that she'd been "hospitalized several times" for multiple personality disorder.
