Barack Obama has yet to gaze upon Mount Rushmore as president. After his visit to Utah yesterday—where he met with Mormon church leaders—South Dakota remains the only state Obama hasn't visited since taking the oath of office, the AP reports, though he did make a stop there during his 2008 campaign. South Dakota's secretary of tourism, who invited Obama to visit in 2013, tells Time he's "convinced he's saving the best for last" and notes the 75th anniversary of the Sturgis motorcycle rally this summer "could be interesting for him to attend." New York reports South Dakota, which has a lengthy history of voting for Republican presidential candidates, has seen only 14 presidential visits in the last 39 years. (More Barack Obama stories.)
