A restroom at a Walmart in Indiana has been closed for the time being after an employee discovered a working meth lab inside. The worker got suspicious after seeing a man enter the restroom about 11:30pm Thursday with a backpack and leave without it, say police. As the Star Press of Muncie reports, the backpack itself was considered to be a portable meth lab, filled with the dangerous chemicals necessary for the mix.
Meth makers "are now often leaving behind the deadly explosive chemicals in public places to return later to get the finished product," says the state police. That way, they avoid the risk of explosions at their own homes. The restroom will be closed until it gets professionally decontaminated. (More weird crimes stories.)
