(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP, File) Amy Pascal is out as co-chair of Sony Pictures Entertainment, the highest profile head to roll in the company's disastrous hack that exposed her private emails and the company's inner workings. But Pascal isn't going far, reports the Hollywood Reporter: She'll head up a new production venture at the studio beginning in May. "I have spent almost my entire professional life at Sony Pictures and I am energized to be starting this new chapter based at the company I call home," she says in a statement. "I have always wanted to be a producer." Her contract was up next month. Pascal's move, reportedly negotiated in recent weeks, comes a day after Vanity Fair published a lengthy exclusive look at the reverberations of the hack. (More Amy Pascal stories.) Report an error
