Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are going to get married a bit earlier than expected—because they're having a baby soon after, sources tell Page Six. "Sophie is a few months along, and both she and Benedict are very excited about it," says a source who puts their wedding in early spring. Cumberbatch, 38, and Hunter, 36, announced their engagement in a charmingly old-fashioned manner in November, and he explained to People then that the newspaper ad they took out was "what I would have done if I wasn't sort of famous. It's what we do. It's a kind of traditional thing to do."
"I wanted to have some control over the message. I don't tweet or do social media. It's too impersonal," he continued. "I would rather do what we did, and have people find it, and not see us from some s---ty, grainy footage staring lovingly into each other's eyes with a ring on someone's finger. I wanted it to be ours." People then explained to him that his fans are now waiting for so-called "Cumberbabies," and he responded, "Oh my God. Well, my mother is also waiting for Cumberbabies."
