Pakistan isn't just killing militants by the dozen after last week's school massacre, it's arresting some as well. The country's interior minister says "quite a few" people "who were facilitators in one way or the other" are now in custody over the attack that killed 148 people, including 132 students, the AP reports. The minister warns that intelligence has indicated that "the militants are getting ready for another savage and inhuman counter-attack" in response to the government's anti-Taliban offensive. The Pakistani government has also lifted a moratorium on the death penalty and executed six people convicted on terrorism charges over the weekend, reports the BBC. (More Peshawar stories.)
