Wake Forest was the latest to fall victim to Tyler Hansbrough and the No. 3 ranked Tar Heels, as UNC rolled over the Demon Deacons tonight, 89-73. The junior scored 29 points and remains a strong contender for National Player of the Year honors. Wayne Ellington and Danny Green added 17 and 15 points respectively, reports the Sports Network.

James Johnson scored 22 points and had eight rebounds for Wake Forest. Although they shot 48% from the field, rebounds and free throws proved to be the downfall of the Deacons, as they were outrebounded 38-24 and went a mere 8-for-17 at the line. UNC, which secured its fifth straight win, is currently atop the ACC by half a game over rival Duke.    (More North Carolina Tar Heels stories.)
