Denver seemed in good position to defeat Milwaukee with a 23-point lead, but the team "ran out of gas," as coach George Karl explained. The Bucks took advantage of 22 second-chance points and a season-high 42 from Michael Redd to surge to a 115-109 win, the Denver Post reports. Elsewhere in the NBA:

  • Atlanta dissolved a 19-point Utah lead at one point, but the Jazz held on for a 100-94 victory off 21 points, 12 rebounds and three steals from Carlos Boozer.
  • The Clippers never had a chance against the stronger, flashier Lakers, who broke away in the second half to cruise to a 113-95 win.
