A German man proved he was more than just a little upset today when he parked outside his family's house and blew himself up, the AP reports. The 49-year-old, who lived in the village of Homberg, had gotten in an argument at home and driven away, police say. He then drove back to the house and detonated explosives while sitting inside the car. The blast killed the man and slightly wounded seven people, including neighbors, family members, and two police officers trying to resolve the family dispute (five were sent to hospital with minor injuries, 9 News reports). Debris also damaged neighboring houses. Police say that the man, whose name is protected by privacy laws, was a demolition expert who had legal permission to use explosives. (More explosion stories.)
