Suspect in Chinese-Food Theft: Yellow Teletubby

When a Teletubby gets hungry, there's no telling what it will do. In this case, Laa-Laa—the yellow one—allegedly broke into a friend's house at 2am Sunday and stole leftover Chinese food. The man dressed as the character had apparently been at a Halloween party, the Smoking Gun reports. According to the police report, he "took Chinese food from the refrigerator and dumped it into his man purse."

Though the Laa-Laa impersonator was caught, his friend didn't want to press charges, despite damage to his door. The man in the costume hasn't been identified, though police say he was a college student, KTVU reports; the event occurred near the Lehigh University campus. (At least he didn't get stuck in the chimney.)
