One of the four students shot and injured by classmate Jaylen Fryberg Friday afternoon has lost her fight for life. Gia Soriano, 14, had been in critical condition with a head wound suffered in the attack at Marysville-Pilchuck High School north of Seattle, reports CNN. "We are devastated by this senseless tragedy," her family said in a statement. "Gia is our beautiful daughter and words cannot express how much we miss her." In other developments:

"She's the one that intercepted him with the gun. He tried either reloading or tried aiming at her. She tried moving his hand away and he tried shooting and shot himself in the neck."
