A Malaysian man seriously injured in a car accident crawled through the jungle for three days before happening upon an isolated village, authorities say. The man, identified as Nicholas Andrew, showed up at the village on Wednesday after the car he was driving sped off a highway in central Malaysia into a ravine early Sunday morning, the local police chief says. Andrew broke his arm and leg and a passenger was killed, the chief says. Andrew told local media from his hospital bed that after regaining consciousness following the crash he called for his friend, got no response, and then decided to "crawl for help." He followed a river until he reached the village. (More Malaysia stories.)
