A death threat emailed to hundreds of Asian students at Harvard has authorities on alert this weekend, reports the Boston Globe. Police say they don't know whether the email is legit, but they've asked students to familiarize themselves with the school's "active shooter" guidelines as a precaution. Using racist language, the email warns recipients they will be shot on campus today. Some got a second email with the same kind of message, and police say they are looking into "several leads." At least one campus event scheduled for Asian-American students today has been canceled as a precaution, reports the Harvard Crimson. (More Harvard stories.)
