The video for Lady Gaga's duet with R. Kelly, "Do What U Want," was melodramatically delayed and ultimately scrapped entirely—and a source tells Page Six that's probably for the best. "It was literally an ad for rape," the source says, explaining that it was "directed by an alleged sexual predator" (Terry Richardson) and "starring another sexual predator" (Kelly), all while being based around a very questionable scenario involving Gaga as a patient and Kelly as her doctor.
"Will I ever be able to walk again?" Gaga reportedly asked in the video. "Yes, if you let me do whatever I want with your body," Kelly replied, adding, "I’m putting you under, and when you wake up, you’re going to be pregnant." Raunchy scenes followed. Gaga blamed poor management and bad scheduling for the video's demise, but Page Six's sources say the controversies swirling around both Richardson and Kelly played a role: At around the time the video was scrapped, Richardson was being accused of sexual misconduct with models on his sets, and the Village Voice was outing Kelly as a "monster" who allegedly molested dozens of underage girls.
