Massachusetts' DOT wanted to make Boston drivers familiar with the foreign idea of signalling before lane changes, but they probably didn't expect this many national headlines as a result. The reason, as CBS Boston explains, is that the DOT's electronic highway signs have the message "Use Yah Blinkah." The Globe rounds up reaction from Bostonians that runs the gamut from "Wicked clevah" to "I'm saddened this is real." The signs—the result of an email complaint received by the department about drivers who zip in and out of lanes—will be up through the weekend. (More Boston stories.)
