Now, despite eating John McCain's dust in the GOP delegate race, Mike Huckabee vowed today to continue to fight for the White House, Reuters reports. “Am I quitting? No, I’m not,” the former Arkansas governor told the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington—the same forum Mitt Romney chose to drop out of the race.

Huckabee insisted that he wasn’t just a “fly in the ointment.” But critics argue he’s staying put to angle for the VP slot, the Chicago Tribune notes. Huckabee fared surprisingly well on Super Tuesday, but McCain has amassed two-thirds of the delegates needed for nomination.
