Dirk Nowitzki collected his first career triple-double—with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists—in Dallas' 107-96 victory over Milwaukee. The win hardly comes as a surprise, considering the Bucks played only eight men and the Mavericks saw Jason Terry, Brandon Bass, and JJ Barea make key plays, reports the Dallas Morning News. Elsewhere in the NBA:

  • Chicago nearly pulled off a win over Portland despite missing three of their top four scorers, but a costly turnover by the Bulls left the final score at 100-97 for a Blazers' victory.
  • An improbable Seattle victory over Sacramento (105-92) was fueled by an unlikelier triple-double by Earl Watson (23 points, 10 boards, 10 assists) for the Sonics' first road win since December.
