Teresa and Joe Giudice pleaded guilty to fraud yesterday, and in a statement to People, the Real Housewife of New Jersey says, "I am heartbroken that this is affecting my family. Especially my four young daughters, who mean more to me than anything in the world." The couple initially pleaded not guilty last year, but ended up making a plea deal; sentencing is July 8. Teresa faces 21 to 27 months in federal prison, while her husband faces 37 to 46 months, their attorney says.

But both can ask for probation, and sources tell Radar that Teresa hopes to serve her sentence under house arrest. The couple's daughters range in age from 4 to 13, and Celebuzz reports that Joe pleaded guilty in the hopes he could prevent Teresa from getting stuck behind bars—though he's now in danger of being deported, since he's an Italian citizen, E! reports. But don't freak out, reality show fans: TMZ reports that the couple will keep filming until they're sentenced, and the legal drama will be featured on the show. (More Joe Giudice stories.)
