The Jayhawks (22-1, 7-1) won their 20th in a row at home and completed a season sweep of the rival Tigers. Kansas has beaten Missouri (13-10, 3-5) nine straight times at home. Keon Lawrence led the Tigers with 25 points. The Jayhawks added insult to injury at halftime when they brought their football team onto the court and presented it with the Orange Bowl trophy it won by beating Virginia Tech. Missouri beat Kansas on the gridiron, but was denied a BCS bid and had to go to the Cotton Bowl, while Kansas went to the Orange. (More NCAA stories.) Report an error
