France's spurned first lady is out of hospital, recovering, and determined to make her relationship with President Francois Hollande work—but sources say he wants it to end, the Telegraph reports. It's unclear whether Hollande has visited girlfriend Valérie Trierweiler, 48, since she moved from a hospital to a hunting lodge on Saturday. But we've learned that she "took one pill too many" and suffered from "extreme fatigue" after Hollane's alleged affair with 41-year-old actress Julie Gayet came to light.

Trierweiler "is doing better and is now resting," Hollande told reporters, the Daily Mail reports. "I have nothing to add." Unnamed sources, however, are adding plenty—that he is "in negotiations, including legal ones" to end their relationship, for instance. And at least one adviser is telling him not to hitch up with Gayet too soon. Meanwhile the barrage of love-triangle questions is threatening to overshadow his influence in political matters, and he's off on five foreign trips—including an official visit to Washington, the AP reports.
