Germany today lost one more person to the Allied bombing campaign of 70 years ago. A construction worker in the city of Euskirchen was killed and eight others injured when a bulldozer hit a buried bomb at a dig site, reports the AP. It's not unusual to unearth unexploded bombs from World War II in Germany, reports CNN, though having them claim modern-day casualties is relatively uncommon. Euskirchen is in western Germany, near Bonn, the target of heavy bombing around 1944, notes the Daily Mail. (More World War II stories.)
