The hiker who cut off part of his arm in a Utah canyon and inspired the harrowing movie 127 Hours was arrested yesterday by Denver police on domestic violence charges, the Denver Post reports. Aron Ralston, 38, faces one count of wrongs to minors and one count of assault. The property owner at the single-family residence, Vita Shannon, 38, was also arrested and faces the same charges. Ralston's hearing is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon in Denver County Court. (More Aron Ralston stories.)
