Whale Explodes All Over Researcher

That's what happened to biologist Bjarni Mikkelsen in Denmark's Faroe Islands this week, the New York Daily News reports. What was Mikkelsen doing cutting open a 45-foot-long whale carcass? Its skeleton is to be exhibited in a Danish museum. And why did it explode? All the trapped gas inside.
