Specifically, the reporter has been asking around about whether Paltrow had an affair with Jeff Soffer in 2008, when he flew her in for the reopening of the Fontainebleau Hotel, which he owns. She "remained closed off in a private section with Soffer" during one party, got a private tour of the hotel, stayed at Soffer's house, and spent time with him on his yacht.
