Rumors have been swirling that all is not well between Kardashian mom Kris Jenner and her hubby of 22 years, Bruce Jenner, and now they've finally confirmed: They're separated, and the family has been keeping it secret for an entire year. "We are living apart," Kris tells Us, though they currently have no plans to divorce. "There is no animosity. We are united and committed to our family," she says. "We ended a marriage, but that's not the end of our friendship. I will always love him, but we are no longer a couple in that way." Of course, TMZ has the slightly less cheery version; sources say Bruce likes life's simple pleasures and Kris is "on a freight train and Bruce finally wanted off." The gossip site also reports Bruce said at an event this weekend, "I'm finally free to do what I want and live life the way I want it."
"We are living separately and we are much happier this way," the Jenners tell E!, home of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality show. "But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority." On the show this season, Bruce has been living apart from Kris in Malibu, but the family continued to deny reports of a split—and Kris even wished Bruce a happy anniversary on Instagram in April, saying she hoped their next 22 years would be "even more fabulous." Needless to say, the reality show will go on, and TMZ reports the separation will be a "major plot line." Obviously.
