(AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster) Well if America's youth won't protest the government shutdown, it looks like America's veterans will. After a group of vets stormed the barricades of DC's WWII memorial yesterday, more protests are in the works, reports Buzzfeed. More veterans groups will arrive at the memorial today, while others are considering similar action across the capital. "We are thinking about jumping the Lincoln memorial, too," says a Marine vet who participated in yesterday's civil disobedience. "If Lincoln was a war memorial I would do it in a heartbeat." Lawmakers are also expected to make an appearance at the memorial today. Democrat Claire McCaskill and Republican Mark Kirk are both planning on attending with veterans' delegations from their respective states, and other politicians have also been tweeting their intention to join in, reports the Wall Street Journal. A Stars and Stripes reporter tweeting live from the scene reports that the veterans have now started "flowing" into the memorial, with flag-waving supporters "lining the entrance."
