A drunk Pakistani pilot was arrested in the cockpit of his plane this week, just before he was scheduled to fly out of a British airport. Irfan Faiz, a 54-year-old pilot with Pakistan International Airlines, was four-and-a-half times over the legal blood-alcohol limit to fly when he was grounded and taken into custody at Leeds Bradford Airport on Wednesday, reports the BBC.

According to the Daily Mirror, police boarded the Airbus 310 Faiz was set to fly to Islamabad as he was carrying out pre-flight checks, and asked him to take a breath test. Faiz has since pleaded guilty to being drunk, and will appear again in court in October, the BBC reports. (More pilot stories.)
