A "highly intoxicated" Louisiana cowboy brought home the top prize in his own personal rodeo: Charges of battery, public intimidation, and disturbing the peace. James Mouton managed the feat by riding his horse into a saloon in the city of Scott, reports the Smoking Gun. At some point he left the building, tried unsuccessfully to re-enter (still on horseback), and then made his way to the parking lot, where he roped himself a 47-year-old male victim and began dragging him around, say police. The victim suffered some road rash but is otherwise OK, and the 26-year-old Mouton is out on bond. (More weird crimes stories.)
