Trayvon Martin rallies were taking place in cities across the US today in the wake of the George Zimmerman verdict, with demonstrators calling for changes to stand-your-ground laws and federal charges for Zimmerman, reports AP. "Today it was my son," said Trayvon's mother, Sybrina Fulton, to a crowd in New York City. "Tomorrow it could be yours." The rallies were organized by Al Sharpton's National Action Network.
